hi, we have a 2014 Nissan Versa and we only drive it one mile a day just to drop off my brother for his one mile walk, I heard that if we do short trips the generator is not given enough chance to recharge or replenish the battery, our short trips are being made in North Central Florida which now has hot weather with temperatures ranging from 27 to 31 Celsius or 80 to 88 Fahrenheit and we drive it in the above temperature range in the hot Florida afternoon so I don't know if the synthetic engine oil is also being diluted from unburned moisture or emulsion or emulsifiers due to the short trip, our one mile trip for my brother to go on his walk are not the only weekly trips as one day a week we also go to Sam's Club and drive 25 miles to Sam's Club and 25 miles back and the day we go to Sam's Club we also do the 1 mile trip to and from so my brother can go on his walk, we currently have 4 months and 4,000 miles on our synthetic engine oil, I googled the question I am begging you to enlighten me on and google told me that a car in storage must be driven once a week to keep the battery charged but google didn't provide climate details and also it told me that short trips in cold weather dilute the engine oil because of the unburned moisture or emulsion or emulsifier whatever you call the stuff that forms at engine start-up but google didn't mention driving it in hot weather on a hot afternoon with temperatures in the 20s and 30s Celsius or 80s and 90s Fahrenheit, and google also told me that if the car is undriven for more than a month then the battery drains and discharges and it needs jumpstarting but google didn't mention one mile trips every day in hot weather and once a week 50 mile trips to Sam's Club, now I will use only Fahrenheit so that I won't confuse you with the different temperature scales, does driving a car in Florida hot weather in the 80s and 90s Fahrenheit one mile a day as well as 50 miles one day a week does that drain or discharge the battery by not giving the generator enough time to charge up the battery or recharge the battery and do such short trips in North Central Florida hot weather also dilute the synthetic engine oil by not allowing moisture to burn off or evaporate? thank you in advance for your information
