Intermittent ticking, or clicking noise coming from inside

When trying to start the car (key on) (warm or cold) I hear a ticking, or clicking coming from inside, perhaps near the AC control.
It is not coming from the engine. When I turn the key off back on same problem, I noticed the gauge cluster doing strange things, like oil pressure normal, speedometer shows up to fifty mph, even though car is not moving or engine not on. To make things more crazy I take the key out of ignition, the ticking is still happening.
I put the key back in which I have done many times, but this time it starts. No ticking, everything is fine.
I have a new battery, alternator, and starter, less than two months old.

This sounds like it might be two problem, but lets handle the clicking noise first maybe the other issue will resolve. The noise you are hearing is one of the blend door actuator is out. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job and the locations of the blend doors for your car are below. Unplug one at a time to find the broken one.
