I recently was not able to avoid a large puddle (very large) in the middle of driving and had to plow my car through part of the puddle before swerving out of it onto another lane. It didn't stop or stall nor did I really notice anything different about it while driving. The puddle was large enough to completely blot out the light of my headlights for a split second though. In any case, there is no water visible on the inside of the vehicle. However, I did observe that the car horn sounded different, almost muffled. Is there any underlying water damage that I should be worried about? Should I take it to a mechanic? What water damage signs should I be keeping an eye out for?
