That would depend on what linkage. Any chance they told you what it does?

Not driving OR the wheels wont turn? In either case, Im not familiar with any rod that could be adjusted to make both of those things happen. There are far too many things that could cause either one of these problems, without some info to start with, Im not sure what to advise you on

Shift cables/rods can easily be adjusted. Just be sure to have the vehicle checke dout beyond just that to be sure it doesnt have other issues
