Hi,

As far as the adaptive cruise control, it can be deactivated when either of the two radar sensors does not detect any objects for an extended duration. The most common cause for this type of deactivation is that the field of vision of the radar sensor(s) is blocked.

I attached a pic below showing the location of the distance regulation control module. Note: There is likely one on each side. Inspect these areas to confirm nothing is blocking their points of view.

Additionally, I noted a technical service bulletin that tied together the brake blocking and ACC issue. To confirm this TSB is relevant, we need to scan for codes. If you find the code C110BF0, the information provided should resolve the issue.

Let me know.

Thanks. How do I scan Dr the code, any diagnostic scanner or do I need to take to a dealer? When I scanned on my own diagnostic, this code did not come up.

Dr the code? I'm not sure what you are referring to.

If the message is still present, it may or may not show as a diagnostic code. Confirm nothing is blocking the distance sensors. Confirm nothing has damaged them as well. If they appear to be undamaged, chances are you will need to get a bi-directional scan tool that can both prompt the sensor to check for operation and reset the system if needed.
