I started my van and had to quickly turn it off and pull my key from the ignition. when I tried to restart it it would not start. I went and got a new key made still nothing. is there anything else I can do? please help

Try disconnecting both battery cables, then touch them together for thirty seconds. Now clean the connections and put them back on. It is possible the quick power on/off cycle tripped the ECM's immobilizer circuit. Try this first. If still nothing, you will need to do a bit of other checking, like going through the fuse box with a test light.
