Where is the transmission filter located?

no problem just change the transmission oil and filter.

Hi,

There is no serviceable filter. Basically, they tell us to drain and fill or use a power flush machine to extract and refill all fluid.

If you look at the pics below, they are the directions and pics specific to your vehicle for servicing the trans. I have to be honest. You won't get everything out the first time you drain it. We usually complete the process two or three times based on how dirty the fluid is. Once it is refilled, we drive it for about a mile and then do it again. LOL

Just to add a bit to Joe's reply. You may find that there is a filter listed for that transmission. However it isn't one that can be accessed to change it without removing the transmission and taking the case apart as it's under the main transmission housing and behind the bell housing area of the case. The attached picture shows the filter below the pump inside the case.
