I took off my front right tire to check my brake pads and checked my wheel hub and it moves about half an inch. The left side has no play in it. Could it be my bearings or tire rod or my CV axel?

Just to clarify the wheel hub moves or the tire is moving? We need to know how you are checking the time. Are you shaking it at 3 and 9 o'clock or at 12 and 6?

If it is loose no matter where you are checking it then that is a wheel bearing.

If it is 3 and 9 then that is a tie rod issue. 12 and 6 is a ball joint issue.

From the sound of it this is a failed wheel hub.

This guide that more detail on this:

Please run through this info and let us know what other info you need. I attached the info below on how to replace the hub bearing as this is what you asked for and it sounds like a bearing issue.

Thanks
