I was doing 75 80 mph down highway 59 went all the sudden the car decided wanted to close to a stop it hasn't move since. I've drained the transmission put the proper amount and type of CVT transmission fluid into it still won't move as a matter of fact since the car stopped moving and before I fill the transmission it had a problem revving up to 1,500 RPMs it's not under warranty anymore, we're not going to really talk about that and now I need to know what to do.

I understand the vehicle is not moving but what does it do? Meaning does the engine start and run normally? I understand it was revving up, but it was that when you are pressing the accelerator.

Meaning does the engine respond normally but the transmission just feels like it is in neutral?

Then when it was revving up, was that when you were trying to accelerate that it you were accelerating, and it felt like it was slipping?

If all this is the case, then I suspect you have a belt inside the CVT transmission that is now slipping, and you no longer have any movement.

We need to start by checking the system for codes and to find out if we have anything that will point us in a different direction, but this is what it sounds like.

So let me know if this is all true and we can go from there.

Thanks
