I arked the battery off I have the wires from the ignition wired to a toggle switch and that wired to a push button. Before I arked the battery off when I would flip the toggle switch it would act as the ignition and turn all power on and all power off but since I arked the battery off when I flip it off the car continues to run until I pop the hood and pull the back up fuse.

Hi, thank you for using 2CarPros. I am sorry for your troubles. Lets see what we can do to resolve them.

Before we get too deep into this could you tell me what "arked the battery off" is? I am not familiar with this term and I do not want to assume and be wrong.

Thank you, Rich

Oh, I hate it when that happens. Don't feel bad, there isn't a tech out there that hasn't done that at least once.

Have you tried putting a new switch in it? The power surge may have cooked the contacts in the switch together so when you flip the toggle the contacts don't actually separate.

Rich.
