my driver side directional signal light is stuck on, even when the car is o9ff. The dealer did not look/find a short in any of the wires/curcuit and jumped directly to the conclusion that the main curcuit box(IMA? $800 part) would need to be replaced
Any possible alternatice solutions

The interesting thing is the flasher should only work when the ignition is on. When it is off, it shouldn't work at all. They may be correct. The only thing I can suggest is to check in the power distribution box under the hood and check to see if you model has a relay for the signals. Remove it and swith it with a different one with the same part number to see if that makes a difference.

Let me know what you find.
