1998 Hyundai Sonata 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I can't open the front passenger door. 1997-98 model. It is unlocked, there is no resistance when the exterior handle is lifted. How do I get the door panel off to access the mechanism with the door closed? Thanks in advance

The panel is held on by a few screws and clips. Remove the arm rest, screws and then the clips are between the door and the panel. You will have to move the seat back and forth to get it.
