2001 Hyundai Accent Jerks Below Half Tank

My Hyundai Accent 2001 seems to begins to jerk whenever the gas gauge goes below a half a tank. Whenever I fill the tank up it does not do it. I recently replaced the fuel filter thinking that was the problem and it worked for about a week or so. No there is some sort of humming coming from the feul pump when it is going to do this. Please help.

Sound like the fuel pump is failing. Have the pressure tested at the rail.
