This is a bit hard to say as you can sometimes get one that is like new and other times you strike problems, the biggest issue is the drying out of oil seals, they are designed to have oil on them and if they dry out from on use, they can damage the sealing lips when started if they are stuck or to dry, rings are also a problem for the same reason, they can stick to the bore an snap if they are started with out lubing first, IE adding oil to the bore and turning over by hand a few revs, brakes can be problem and exhaust will rust away quite happily as well, so go into the purchase with an eye to what may be facing you after a long lay off.
