I have the same problem with my 2007 Sonata. Driving this car is torture!
I brought it back to the Dealer, as I was sure that there was something wrong with the seat. Atlantic Hyundai on LI told me that my body was misconfigured, and that there was nothing wrong with the seat!
I had my Drivers seat modified at an Auto Reupolstery place. They changed the configuration so that I'm closer to the steering wheel, and more upright to allign with the steering wheel and pedals.
There is no padding or springs in their seats, and they told me that Hyundais have become their #1 seat modification. It cost me $650, and it's not perfect, but it was my only option for this very expensive mistake.
It appears that if you're tall and thin, this car is not a good fit. If I had driven the car for a few days instead of the usual 15 minute test drive, I would NEVER have bought it.
