2000 Hyundai Elantra AC smell

When I turn on the AC the air has an unpleasant smell. Since I don't think that my car has a cabin filter
I hope that you guys can help me out with some advice. (Other than take a shower)

If it's only when the AC is on, the shower won't help. LOL

CHances are there is condinsation that is causing the smell from not draining completely. If you look on the passanger side of the firewall (under the hood), you will see a black rubber hose going to nowhere. That is a drain. Make sure it isn't plugged.
