there is so much noise in the steering system when engine is started. Sometimes the powersteering stops working untill engine is turned off, turned on again and steering wheel is turned a bit to the left side. Whst is the cause and what is the remedy

Hi there, check the power steering fluid level and the belt tension for the pump, if a leak is present this will have to be repaired or the pump may fail due to lack of oil.
