I noticed that there was a green liquid that had been dripping from the driver side, just below the frame where my door was.

I find this peculiar, as the coolant is on the far right-hand side of the car and there are no other areas that are leaking. In just the past few days my accent has ended up leaking much worse, why would the coolant be leaking on this side of the car, what could be the cause, and how worried should I be about this condition?

You may want to check your water pump. It is close to the vicinity. You should be very worried if it is the water pump. If it fails, your engine will lose the cooling ability and you end up with an overheated engine.
