i have a 2001 Hyundai Accent GL and the engine light is on I had ran a code reader through to see what the problem was and the code that came up was about the speed control sensor is eaither missing or not hooke up. How do I find out the problem?

It is actually more than just speed sensor. It requires the programming of your transmission control module, that Hyundai has issued a Technical Service Bulletin 03-04-016.

I don't believe that this is something that can be done by a DIY, as it involves Hyundai scan tool.
