Electrical problem
2000 Hyundai Accent

hello, my trunk latch is broken but still shuts tight, however the warning light for the trunk door on my dashboard stays on. Im wondering if there is a way for me to disable the light. Any information would be appreciated, thanks.

A couple ways. One is to check the trunk switch (green on pic) and see if it can be adjusted. May be part of the latch.

You can pull the fuse (red on pic), but lose your courtesy lights.

OR you can pull out the cluster and remove the bulb.
