Hi, I have the car listed above it is an Aqua model. The check lights on and I checked with a mechanic. He scanned my car and said there is problem with a Hybrid battery. But all battery modules (shells) are not damaged. So he said most probably after a Hybrid battery service my problem will be resolved.
Is this possible or not?
Or I have to change the total battery?

Some mechanics said there must be some damaged shells. So have to change damaged battery shells and replace some new shells.

If I do it will it be resolved my problem?

The Prius battery packs are made up of individual cells, like the image. They can be replaced if they fail. But you have to make sure which cell(s) are bad or if it is the circuitry associated with them instead. The testing is not that difficult and if it is a few bad cells they can be replaced to repair the pack.
