My car so hot. How to change water pump?

Before changing the water pump, you need to make sure that that is the problem. I would first be checking for a faulty thermostat, coolant leaks internal and external and cooling fans are working, also that the radiator is not blocked. i suggest this as water pump failure is often well down on the list of actual causes for engine overheating.
