The door chimes almost non-stop the message center on the dash says the rear cargo door is open, but it is not. My wife is about to take a ten hour trip and the only way to keep the door chime from chiming is to take out the fuse which also controls the radio. All I want to do is bypass the sensor in the rear cargo door then I will fix it when she comes home from her trip.

If you mean the rear door as in the one over the rear bumper There should be either two pin switches, one for each door or the door ajar switch is in the latch.

If it has the pin switches you just remove the one for that door, remove the connector and see if the chime stops. If it does not short the two connectors in the van side of the connector.
If it is the latch switch remove the door trim on the handle side and look for a pink wire with a brown trace. Disconnect it and either leave it open or connect it to ground.

One or the other will stop the chime, it just depends on which options your van has. The wiring can be set up both ways as well so either an open circuit or ground will signal the system as that is how the switches work.
