In response to your question Honda made both a carburated engine and fuel enjected. In the 1990 Prelude S, engine model number b20a3 it is a dual side draft carburated engine. If you have the B20a5 engine or the B21a1 engine then it is fuel injected. You can tell what type of engine it is by looking at the front motor mount and will have the engine number located there.
