The Tailpipe inside is black and someone said that is because it is running "rich"? I am wondering what this means and how to fix it? They said it is the computer? Can I put something in the gas tank or fix the muffler? It does have an exhaust leak.

Who told you this? and what do they think comes from burning hydrocarbons? (GAS) Perfume? Of course the inside of the pipe is black...be troubled if the sevrice engine light comes on, and you have black smoke comming out of the tailpipe! Stick your finger in ANY exhaust pipe and see what color you come back with!
