Hi

I actually have two questions. Thank you very much for helping out.

I have a Honda 94 with about 170,000 miles.

For the past few weeks, my Car's check oil light turn on and off after a period (like an hour) of driving. Usually it stays on at the end.

Yesterday, when I was driving, I pressed on gas, and and the car won't increase speed (the RPM won't move and dropped to 0). After I pressed it for a while, it sudden gave a boost, than went off again. I pulled it to the side, shut the engine off, and restart the car. I was able to drive for another 10min.

After 10 min, suddenly, the car's engine stopped. I try to restart and I can hear crancks, but the car just won't start. I tried to several times and it didn't work, then hen I jump the car with another person's help, and the car can start again. Please help

I have another car, HONDA 99, with about 70,000. For one day, the clutch keep getting locked, and I have to use shift lock release several times, but the next day it is ok. What is the problem?

The oil light is a problem. First of all you need to check the oil level. If the oil level is ok, you need to find out what the oil pressure is. You may not be getting a proper flow of oil around the entire engine. There is a possibility that the sensor is bad but look to the other possibilities first. Next is the issue of power and/or loss. I suspect that the engine is having a lubrication problem. I would address that BEFORE doing any further driving. It could be the source of the problems.

The other car is a manual or an automatic?
