I have to keep filling up my engine with coolant. The engine does not suck coolant from the overflow container. I have to add coolant every day directly to the radiator and top off the overflow container so the car does not overheat. I do not know what the problem is. Before the car started over heating, all of a sudden last winter, there would be no heat in the car; it was blowing cold. Then it overheated one day and I added coolant and the heat worked, but I still have to add coolant several times a day of it eill overheat. Aly solutions folk?

Thanks

1. Radiator cap has to hold specified presure, can be bad
2. Thermostat can be stuck
3. Water pump can be bad. If you run your car on pure water for longer time, pump propeller could corrode and can be gone. This is made of steel.
4. Head gasket might be blown.
Good Luck, Paul
