I have a 2005 Honda CRV (approx. 24,000 miles). Recently, I was driving down a hill and I could experienced the following:
1. I could not move the steering wheel (as if it were locked)
2. I could hardly press the brake (there was a lot of resistance behind it)
3. The odometer reading (which is digital) went blank
To avoid crashing into something, I pulled the emergency brake and waiting for the tow truck. To my surprise, when the tow arrive, I could start the car again and drive without any problem. Nonetheless, I am very hesitant to drive my car.
Can anyone guess what would be the root cause of this problem? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you very much!
