Question about buying a Honda CRX with a salvaged title

Hey everyone im looking at buying a 1991 honda crx with 160,000 miles at an used car dealership. I got a carfax report for it and it says it was in an accident in 1998 and was given a salvaged title. I figured that since it was 9 years ago and since its in good condition and im only paying 1000 for it, I should go ahead and buy it. Is this a good decision?
