Fuel Leak

I'm assuming your refering to the fuel tank "neck" that is rusted. The "neck" is actually part of the fuel tank itself. You would be better off replacing the whole fuel tank (part # 17500SB2684) which cost about $350 from the dealer. Rust does not occur in one spot only, it's probally already rusted inside the fuel tank. Labor to replace the tank should not be more then 2 hours. Hope this helps. Good luck!

When you buy a new tank does it normally come with the part (couple) to connect the neck to the fuel line?

Purchase from a parts site, but at least you'll have a better understanding of what's included in the assembly, how things go together, & a ballpark price on parts.

The CRX fuel tank is surprisingly easy to remove & replace. If you have a safe way of jacking up the car, some basic tools, & a container to store the fuel you could easily do this yourself. If you're intimidated, get the chilton/haynes manual. It shows how to do this step by step.
