2002 Honda CRV runs rough

2002 Honda CRV 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

started having problems pulling hills but idles fine two codes 1259 1456

Those two codes are:

V-TEC system malfunction
and
EVAP leak at the fuel tank.

The evap leak would cause no driveability issue, however it will lower gas mileage.

The first code however will cause your v-tec system to be disabled, this will cause driveability issues in the top end of your powerband.
