I just got a $180 speeding ticket in my neighborhood for going 14 over, and I'm sure they have their rates designed to transfer as much wealth from normal people like me to the county's coffers. That being said, I want to prevent this from happening again. I want to be able to set a governor in my car to, say, "33 mph" in the neighborhood, so I don't have to be paranoidly watching the spedometer, nor do I have to overcompensate by driving extremely slow and thus waste time (it takes me 5 mins to get out of my neighborhood). I would also set it on trips, so I don't have to constantly check my speed or worry that I might just slip up and start going too fast without thinking about it.
So, is there a way to install an adjustable speed governor that I can adjust easily from the driver's seat of the car whenever I want? I would need to be able to set it easily, since I would have to adjust it as I move from speed limit zone to speed limit zone. Hopefully someone else has already thought of this.
