I have a 2003 Honda Civic HX. OBD code P1490 comes up when I access my PCM. I'm told that has to do with my catalytic converter however I have two on this car. can I as a DIYer diagnose which cat is giving me problems or do I need to see a profesional? If I can diagnose this myself how do I do that?

Hi techlead,

Are you sure the code is correct? The code mentioned is not found in the DTC list.

My bad, the code is P1420. I was referring to memory when I wrote that. I guess my memory is not as good as I thought it was.
