Electrical problem
2003 Honda Civic Automatic

So i just got my car back from a mechanics shops not too long ago and i just bought a fm transmitter for my ipod. when i first bought it i tested in my bf's car and it worked fine, but when i plugged it into my car it wouldn't even turn on. I've checked the fuse box for it and replaced it, but it's still not working. i've also tested a cig lighter and even that wont work. what should i do?

Pull the cigarette lighter socket out of the dash, unhook the conector on the back. Turn the key on. You should have both power and ground (there are two wires)

Tell me which one you do not have.

Also, double check the fuse that you replaced. Make sure it did not blow again and that u replaced the proper fuse.
