Hey guys,

I had been driving all week and my car was fine and like a mile before I got to my GF's house there was an odd noise (soft and quiet at this point) from under my hood. (My AC was running) So I pulled in her driveway and cut my AC off and all of a sudden this LOUD noise was coming from under my hood, I popped it and look under it and it sounded like it was coming from the belts (all of which are about a month new)...When I cut my AC on the noise basically stops, but when I cut it off is starts back up...???

HI there,

Remove the A/C belt and run the engine, is the noise still there? check for any play in the idler pulley and the clutch bearing in the compressor, let me know what you find.
