1999 Honda Civic 4 cyl Manual 208, 00 miles

My Engine lights been on for awhile, car would hesitate when I would accelerate, car wouldn't start yesterday and still won't today? Possible o2 sensor? Or could it be it jump the timming? Where should my marks be? Should they be straight across level with the head?

Making sure you have the correct timing is all that you can do
O2 sensor will not cause an engine not to start
check for spark
check for fuel
check timing
