Make sure the crankshaft key is in place and then torque to its specifications

Check to make sure the balancer or pulley is NOT worn. If any wear is seen replace it. You can buy them used online. $15 or $20 bucks. As Raz said make sure the key is there and then also check the crankshaft end for any damage. Install the new balancer and tighten. There is a special tool to help get the bolt tightened properly. It is very important that the bolt is tightened to specs. Very important because you do not want that to come loose again.
