1999 Honda Civic Car engine shuts down while driving

My car engine shuts off while driving, but stereo and a/c stay on. The car starts right after I put the car in park and turn the ignition off. I noticed that the car idles below 1000 rpm but I don't know if that is normal.

If it starts up everytime and doesn't run rough and there are no DTC's. I would take a good look at the ignition switch.
