I love my honda and it has never failing me but my boyfried who is a mechanic told me that my mototr is soon to go.I don't know if it is cheaper getting a brand new motor in a dealer of buying the repair kit and paying someone to fix it. What would you do?

You can source out a second hand engine for real cheap. That is by far the cheapest way to go. The only down-fall, is sometimes you don't know what you're getting when you buy a used engine. For peace-of-mind find an engine with some type of warranty. A rebuild would be too costly and not worth the cost of the vehicle.
