My Honda Civic keeps cutting off when I start it. What could be the problem

Is the engine light on? If so, retrieve any DTC's.

If the engine light is not on, check for strong spark and proper fuel pressure. What is common on these vehicles are failing distributors. So you may have a sensor in the distributor that has failed or a failing ignition coil, ICM, etc.
