First of all thank you so much for your donation. What model civic also do you have a 2 door or a 4door?When the window stop's going up can you grab the window and help it up the rest of the way?It sound's like you could have a weak window motor.

It is a 2 door civic, window goes down fine, when rolling up, it come to a complete stop to a certain point, then stops. You cannot pull it up the rest of the way. It just stops. Thank you

Door Panel Replacement

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the door panel and other parts.

1. Remove:

o Inner handle trim
o Mirror mount cover panel

2. If applicable, remove the regulator handle by pulling the clip out with a wire hook.

3. Remove the armrest pocket, then disconnect the power window switch connector.

4. Remove the speaker cover, then remove the screws.

5. Release the clips that hold the door panel. Remove the door panel by pulling it upward. Disconnect the speaker connector.

NOTE: Remove the door panel with as little bending as possible to avoid creasing or breaking it.

6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
You will need to remove the inner door panel so you can see if the window is binding something broke or a weak window motor.I posted the instruction's and emailed you the diagrams that you will need. Let me know what you find.

Thank you, got the door panel off, and found that it was off the track in the front, fixed, however somebody tried to break in his car about 6 moths ago and his lock was pushed in, when we got the door ranel off found the lock at the bottom, we inserted the lock but there is a rod about 6 inches long with a hook at the end we do not know where that goes and we seem to be missing another part of the lock from the outside, the actual key insert, any suggestions, thank you

That rod will go from the lock cylinder arm to the door latch there should be a place for that rod on the latch.I tried to find a diagram of your latch for you but I couldn't find one for you. As far as your missing part are you talking about the the door lock cylinder bezel and and the key door?

The window coming off track is usually caused by a broken part in the regulator or the window channel guide's so see if anything look's broken.
