Engine Cooling problem
1997 Honda Civic Automatic 100km miles

my car always overheats, I just replaced the radiator because of this but after 3 weeks, it overheats again, I have it checked by the mechanic who replaced the radiator, he says we can remove out the thermostat so that it wont overheat since the thermostat is only needed in cool places and were located in the Philippines. Is it really ok it we remove the thermostat? Do I have to replace it or not? I hope you can help me with this since I dont know much about cars. Thank you.

Hi there,

The thermostat should not be removed as it regulates the engine temp at the optimum level, I would be looking at the thermo fans and a faulty water pump, check these next.
