I have a 97 honda civic with 290,000. I know it has a lot of miles, it is a work car that has had few problems. I went to start it tonight and it was running fine all day and wont start. It turns over like it is going to start but wont turn all the way over. Tried to jump it, don't think it''s the alternator because I've had that happen and it's not the same problems and don't think it's the starter. wondering if it's a fuel pump. I've recently had the distributor fixed and put a new battery in it about a year ago. I'm a girl and usually have an idea of what's wrong with my car but this time I don't and dont want to get ripped off. it acts like it is going to start but doesnt.
