Both my front axels are shot on my car. Just wanted to know if this is something that I can easily just do myself or should I pay for it to be professional repaired. Im pretty mechanical and fix alot my car issue's. Thank you for your help!

It is not a difficult job, however if rust is an issue on your vehicle, getting the axle nut loose might be difficult.

Also, you'll need a few 'speciality' tools. A pickle fork to seperate the balljoint from the lower control arm. And a 32mm socket for the axle nut.

If you have access to these tools then go for it! You may want to soak the axle nut in penetrating fluid a day before you do this job though. Giving it a day to soak up will really help you out when you go to remove it.
