1995 Honda Civic replacing distributor cap

A Couple of days ago my car decided to shut off while I was driving it. Now it won't start. Someone suggested that I check for spark and if no spark change the distributor. While as I was in the process of doing so I noticed oil inside the distributor cap. Should I be concerned about that. Anyway, I managed to change the distributor but the car still will not start. Help! Any Suggestions?

Sounds to me that the oil seal on the distributor is no more good and should be replaced.
