1994 Honda Civic wont stay running

i have a 1994 honda civic and it will not stay running longer than a minute the timining is good and we replaced the fuel filter after it says running for a minute it cuts off and wont crank back up for another minute what would cause it?

Based on what you told me it sounds like you could have a bad alternator and possibly a bad battery as well or you could even have a bad ground connection. Sometimes when alternators are bad your engine will die and you will be able to start the engine up again a few minutes later off of the memory that builds up in the battery but will die again once its used up all of the memory charge in the battery. And you can do this over and over again.
Check the batter terminals and wires and make sure they are clean and not corroded and your ground connections are clean and secure. Places like auto zone and checkers can check and see if your battery and charging system are working properly.
