1994 Honda Civic surge valve

I need to know where my surge valve is to clean or replace. Cause it is causing my engine to idling weird. May need to relpace to just clean off.

Don't know of a surge valve. If you find one let me know. Check the coolant level and then check to ensure that the system is purged of air. (Radiator cooling system) The IAC valve could be what you are referring to and it can be taken off and cleaned. The other valve you might be referring to is the EGR valve. That can be inspected for proper operation and then cleaned or replaced.

Is your idle surging up & down? If so, check the IAC valve (under the throttle body). I had a similar problem with my 94 and found that the mechanism inside the valve had come undone. It's easy to repair, you just need to screw the unit back together again. You undo the one endcap (3 phillips head screws) and then you'll see a screw head that you have to tighten down. You may want to back it all the way out and put some locktite on it so it doesn't happen again. Then you just need to re-install it, top off your coolant & bleed the system.
