My car makes a knocking noise when I turn, not always but most everytime. What is the simplest solution? ALSO-this is a different subject but there is a clicking noise that comes from under the hood when the car is idling and the air conditioning is on, any idea what that may be?I appreciate it!

Hi griff1132,

Crocking noises during acceleration while turning are due to faulty CV joints. Check for torn ruber boots which is a confirmation of worn CV joints.

The AC compressor or its idling bearing, crankshaft pulley and beltings are capable of causing the noise described.
