I received a '91 Honda Civic DX Hatchback. It has been sitting for several years, and does not run. Everything "looks" great. No grease/grime/leaks/dents/rust/etc. Almost like "new", but the odometer reads 194,000. So NOT "new". The former owner's father told me that it "quit" on his daughter, and she took it to a mechanic. The mechanic stated he thought it was the timing belt (loose, broken, jumped, etc). Upon my inspection, the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley as well as the camshaft pulley, all line up perfectly with TDC (checked with a probe in #1 cyl and indeed it was @ TDC). Also, I checked the spark, and it was very strong (just checked with the #1 plug though). So, I think I can rule out "timing" (unless you experts tell me otherwise). Next step would be "fuel". I need some advice for how to troubleshoot the fuel system. Fuel pump, pressure regulator, injectors, etc.
Thanks in advance.
