Question: 1998 Honda Accord mileage: 133,000 My Accord has an automatic transmission 4 cylinder. I started having car problems. The car would stall during hot weather. It does not overheat but according to the temp gauge. It also would not start right away when the engine dies. This problem is happening only during the hot weather. The car will start but after a few minutes.

What can be wrong? My friend told me that it may be vapor lock or I need a new fuel regulator. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help.

I think I would start by looking at the EFI main relay. Should be located up under the dash on the driver side. They can have bad solder joints and though they may test ok when cool they seperate when warm or hot.
